Keeping your favorite recipes organized in Whisk is easy! You can save recipes you love, create custom sections to organize them, and manage these sections effortlessly. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Saving a Recipe

  1. Find a Recipe: Whether you're exploring a recommended recipe from the home screen or creating your own with AI, you can easily save it.
  2. Hit "Save This": Once you’ve found or created a recipe, tap the "Save This" button.
  3. Access Saved Recipes: After saving, your recipe will be added to your Saved Recipes. You can access your saved recipes by tapping the "Saves" tab in the bottom navigation bar (second icon from the left).

Organizing Saved Recipes with Custom Sections

You can create custom sections to categorize your saved recipes, such as “Desserts,” “Weeknight Dinners,” or “Meal Prep.” This is a beta feature, so please let us know what you think of it here!

  1. Create a New Section: On your Saves screen, scroll to the "Add your own section" option and tap the "+" button. Name your new section and start adding recipes to it!
  2. Add Recipes to an Existing Section: Navigate to your Saves and find the recipe you want to organize (the recipe must be saved first). Tap "Add to section" at the top of the recipe screen. Choose the section you want to add the recipe to, and you're done!
  3. Remove a Recipe from a Section: Go to the saved recipe and click "Remove" instead of "Add to section." This will remove the recipe from the selected section, but it will still be in your general saved recipes list.

Managing Sections

  1. Rename or Delete a Section: Go to the Saves tab and select "View section" for the section you want to manage. Tap the three dots () in the top-right corner. Choose either "Rename" or "Delete" based on your needs.
